The Importance of Leverage for Online Businesses

Posted in General on August 4th, 2009 by imr – Be the first to comment

Leverage is the ability to achieve a hefty gain from a lesser investment – whether that investment is time, effort or money.

We generally think of leverage as the mechanical benefit that derives from using a lever.  In fact, Archimedes once boasted, “Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world.”

But leverage isn’t limited to the laws of physics – it applies in many other conditions as well.

In business, Change Agents commonly speak of shifting one or more business “levers” in order to change the organization’s structure or performance.  Unfortunately, in today’s world, those business levers are often perceived negatively, resulting in job cuts, down-sizing, bankruptcies, or other forms of corporate re-organization.

But leverage has many positive uses as well.

People apply financial leverage when they use borrowed funds to increase their ROIs, or when they use options to control large numbers of stock at a cost far less than outright purchase.

Home businesses use leverage when they operate online.  Simply by doing that, they’ve eliminated the boundaries of geography (and largely, time as well) and leveraged their advertising dollars, since it costs the about the same amount to create an announcement that reaches only a small number of people as it does to create an ad that reaches a global market.

If we were managing a small “brick and mortar” store, we might be satisfied with a couple hundred visitors, but as an affiliate internet marketer, we want massive traffic numbering in the hundreds of thousands, or even millions – and not just any traffic, but targeted traffic.

We are applying leverage when we use tools such as Google AdWords:  we use the Google technologies to identify targeted traffic for us and send it to our website.

The Internet provides us with many forms of leverage, but they basically all boil down to the use of technology.   Technology is one of the greatest levers ever invented.

Most internet marketers are familiar with the use of autoresponders and search engines, etc., but they habitually fail to make full use of the technology lever in their back office processes – including everything from managing sales leads to fulfilling the order and taking care of the follow-on billing and customer service issues.

Those online businesses that take fully leverage technology are the ones who will succeed in this competitive environment.

Affilo Blueprint Review – The Ins And Outs

Posted in General on July 22nd, 2009 by imr – Be the first to comment

Are you also really tired with all the ‘guru’ product launches on the Internet that happen these days? It kind of feels like everyone has written a training course, an ebook or some other product which ‘guarantees’ making you money online. The fact is though, the majority of these video courses are a waste of time and money – but finding the golden nugget within all these products can be actually tough work; and every one of us have been taken in by a course that ended in dissatisfaction AT MINIMUM one time. Affilo Blueprint however, wasn’t a disappointment.

Affilo Blueprint Review: First off though, let’s talk about what AffiloBlueprint actually is. Created by Super- Affiliate Mark Ling and his Affilorama team, AffiloBlueprint claims to be a complete system for building profitable affiliate web sites. When the course was released the first time last year, Mark Ling really was using this blueprint to build a website in front of a live audience – a site which in turn ended up earning $500 per month in earnings! In this latest release, Mark Ling does use the exactly same technology, but with a better blueprint and more in- depth lessons.

What really is this ‘blueprint’? The whole concept of Affilo Blueprint is that you are able to build multiple websites, in any viable niche you like, by using the same process over and over again. This means you can build a whole bunch of small $50 per week websites, and then just build up your revenue by creating a lot of websites. Then, as Mark Ling describes, if you reinvest some of that cash back into the websites in the form of building content and SEO campaigns, you can very quickly accelerate your income into the thousands a week – just by starting with several $50 per week sites. This is truly one of the easiest, but yet most efficient ways I’ve seen for building this level of earnings with affiliate marketing.

So what is covered in the product? AffiloBlueprint is a 12 week course with more than 50 video lessons. Beginning with how to research a profitable niche and researching the market, you are taken through finding keywords, building content, setting up an affiliate site, search- engine-optimization, building newsletters, analysing statistics and troubleshooting (which is brilliant!), and pay per click. So as you can see, extremely comprehensive!

One of the sole disadvantages with this course is that, with so many information it has, you could be tempted to rush through parts. Don’t do it! All of the lessons in Affilo Blueprint are there for a reason, and if you follow it step-by-step, you will pretty much certainly be able to build a successful website.

You also receive a custom made Wordpress template when you buy the AffiloBlueprint, so if you never built a niche site before, you can just use a template built by affiliate marketing experts to create your niche site. To make this product as much newbie-proof as possible Mark Ling has gone through a lot of trouble, that’s for sure. Everything is actually clearly explained and there is no assumption of knowledge, so if you are in the beginning with your online experience, this product is for you. If you do have some experience with affiliate marketing however, you will still find the step-by-step structure of AffiloBlueprint helpful. This is going be what you need to push up your income or fix your under- performing niche sites.

At the end, I highly recommend Affilo Blueprint as one of the greatest affiliate training products I’ve seen.

CPA Marketing Explained

Posted in General on July 13th, 2009 by imr – Be the first to comment

I will not say that everybody who is reading this article does know realy what CPA marketing means and so I’m going to start with a quick explanation that describes exactly what CPA marketing is, and how to use it to make money from it.

CPA (cost per action) is also known as PPA (pay per action) and is a web based marketing opportunity that pays you based on a precise structure or model. For instance, if you participated in CPA offers, you would receive a commission every time a prospect completed a specific action, such as registering on a website, filling out a form, signing up for an offer, or maybe just visiting a specific website.

The requirements regularly range between a one time e-mail opt-in to more in-depth form processing including 3, four page surveys, application forms as well as downloading demos, screen savers, software and scripts.

While CPA offers change and the requirements associated with beingcredited for an ‘action’, there are an abundance of high paying Cost-Per-Action programs and offers which you can become involved in.

CPA marketing is, in truth, one of the best tactics to earn an income on the internet with tiny effort in comparison with many of the standard marketing techniques and opportunities.

A lot of CPA Companies pay out anywhere from $.25 right up to $4.00 for a single e-mail opt-in form, with other CPA opportunities paying out as much as $150.00 for a more in-depth process or lengthier requirement where your prospect may need to confirm their email address, accept a free trial offer and at times, your commission will only be credited weeks later after your visitor has finished the process.

For example, an advertising company pays the CPA program that you’ve become a part of $10 for every lead generated as a consequence of their members process. In turn, the CPA firm pays you 70% of that, earning $3 for connecting you with the advertisers.

In order to start earning money with CPA offers, you will need to enroll into a handful of CPA based networks. There are CPA programs available on the net that host a giant number of different CPA opportunities, which makes it possible to enroll into one website and being given the possibility to take part in multiple opportunities from several different companies.

CPA programs serve as the middleman, connecting publishers and advertisers together, and generally coordinates the variation of offers from participating publishers and corporations with associate marketers, for a tiny or proportion of the offer itself.

After you’ve been accepted into a CPA program, you’ll be given an unique affiliate link, just as you would if you joined an affiliate program.

This affiliate link identifies you as as an affiliate marketer for the chosen offer and tracks all of your sales and in exchange, serves you with conversion rates and some more information that can help you figure out how well your efforts bringing visitors to your offers are doing.

The CPA program itself takes care of all the tracking, where your account information is stored. One of the best things about working with a CPA program is that you are able to promote more then one CPA offers, covering a wide variety of niche markets and get one paycheck for all of your earnings combined.

Furthermore, nearly all CPA networks will give an assistant to assist you in getting started as well as address any concerns you’ll have during your starting process.

All of these CPA programs offers different opportunities, with the more preferred networks offering as much as 1,500 different opportunities in their database at any given time.

Furthermore, a lot of CPA networks supply you with many of the promotional media that you need, including email campaign, banners, graphic ads, ad copy and text ads.
